Education

Master's Thesis "Implementation of an environment for running and testing Linda programs", supervised by Marcin Engel.

The idea of the JavaSpaces Netbeans project came from Jacek Sroka and the project itself started as my assignment for "Multi-tier applications development" lab.
The project is supported by Sun Microsystems as a part of Netbeans Innovators Grant process.
More information can be found at: JavaSpaces Netbeans Project.

Bachelor's Thesis ''MiMap - interactive map application'', Team programming project lead by Janusz Jabłonowski.

A map application designed mainly for maps of buildings and aimed at disabled, especially visually impaired people. The application consisted of a graphical map editor and a fully accessible map browser. The browser was capable of finding optimal routes between two places taking into consideration an elaborate system of user preferences (the ''best'' route for a person moving on a wheelchair in most cases would be different than the same route for a person without any disabilities). After the optimal route was found, it was presented to the user as an audio file.
