''MiMap - interactive map application'', Team programming project lead
by
Janusz
Jabłonowski. A map application designed mainly for maps of buildings and aimed at disabled, especially visually impaired people. The application consisted of a graphical map editor and a fully accessible map browser. The browser was capable of finding optimal routes between two places taking into consideration an elaborate system of user preferences (the ''best'' route for a person moving on a wheelchair in most cases would be different than the same route for a person without any disabilities). After the optimal route was found, it was presented to the user as an audio file. |
