Development of an Automated Training System for the Go2 Quadruped Robot Using the Genesis Simulator and Generative Language Models
In robotics and AI, Sim2Real short for Simulation to Reality is about transferring models, skills, or policies trained in simulation to work effectively in the real world.
Simulations let us train faster, safer, and cheaper, without the risks or costs of physical experiments. However, real-world environments are complex, noisy, and unpredictable, therefore bridging the “reality gap” is crucial. In order to properly evaluate obtained skills in the world we need a reliable way to transfer trained policies to the real robot.
My thesis will focus on creating a comprehensive system for training RL policies in diverse, parameterized training environments and later transferring control policies to the Unitree Go2 Quadruped robot. Zapraszam,
